In the beginning was the Word...

And in the beginning of this blog... more words... not inspired like John's, but hopefully inspiring, entertaining, thought-provoking (or numbing). Thanks for stopping by, but how did you find me here?

About me... I'm a mid-20s guy trying to find the meaning of life out here in the middle of North Texas. I work as a public school teacher and enjoy reading, writing poetry, short stories and commentary, listening to and playing music, sports and travel.

I've been walking with Jesus Christ for right at 15 years now. But I just now feel like I'm starting to understand some essentials for this relationship, plumbing the depths, as it were, of His Grace and the sacrifice He became for me on the cross.

Well, I took enough time out of my schedule to create this thing... so I guess I can get back to work now.
